Slider Won't Swipe or Scroll Smoothly? Try This

A slider that will not swipe, jumps between slides or feels choppy is usually caused by something outside the section. Three known culprits cover most cases.

1. Your theme's animation setting

Some themes have a Reduce animations or Disable animations option in Theme settings. It turns off movement everywhere, which makes sliders snap instead of glide. Check Theme settings, then Animations, and turn animations back on.

2. Another slider on the same page

Two slider tools on one page can fight each other, especially a theme slideshow plus an app slider. Try the section on a page without other sliders. If it works there, the conflict is between the two tools, and we can help separate them.

3. Your device's reduce motion setting

Phones with Reduce Motion turned on (an accessibility setting) skip slide animations on purpose. The section is respecting the visitor's choice. Test on another device before assuming a bug.
