Refund & Exchange

Overview

Most purchases are final because sections are digital and available immediately. We will always make it right in the situations below.

Eligible for refund

  1. The section does not function as described on a supported Shopify OS 2.0 theme after reasonable troubleshooting with our team.
  2. Duplicate, unauthorized payments, or non-delivery.
  3. Where required by local consumer law.

What “reasonable troubleshooting” means

  • You grant collaborator access or provide a preview link.
  • We reproduce the issue on a draft copy of your theme and attempt a fix or a conflict-free workaround.
  • If we cannot resolve it in a reasonable time, we approve a refund.

Exchanges (14 days)

If the section is working but is not a fit, we can exchange it once within 14 days for another section of equal value.

Not eligible

  • Change of mind after download, mismatched custom code unique to your theme where the section works as designed, or refusal to allow basic troubleshooting.
  • Repeated exchanges of the same order.

You cannot exchange a free section for a paid section. You can only exchange sections of the same value

How to request

Contact our support team (or email daniel@section.store).

Note

This policy does not limit rights under local consumer laws.

What “fix” means

A fix is making the section work like our demo on a compatible Shopify OS 2.0 theme.

We will:

  • ask for a preview link or collaborator access
  • test on a duplicate theme (not your live theme)
  • correct bugs or apply a light, safe workaround

A fix is not:

  • adding new features or options
  • restyling or custom design work
  • rewriting the section for a heavily customized framework
  • resolving deep conflicts caused by other apps or theme scripts outside our control

Theme conflicts (example: another slider such as SwiperJS already in the theme)

We try a simple compatibility tweak. If it needs deeper changes or more time, you can choose an exchange within 14 days or a refund.

This keeps the core policy: digital items are generally non-refundable. We will fix issues where a section does not work as described on a compatible theme, or we will exchange or refund. We also honor refunds for duplicate purchases, non-delivery, unauthorized payments, and wherever local consumer law requires.
