How to set up Mix & Match bundle deals

Mix & Match lets shoppers keep the product they are already looking at and add other products they choose. Each item can carry its own discount, so it suits build your own bundle offers.

Before you start

1. Open Section Store → Bundles & Quantity Breaks.
2. Decide what shoppers can pick from: up to 20 specific products, one collection, AI recommendations, or the whole catalog.

Set up a Mix & Match deal

1. Click Create bundle deal (or open an existing bundle).
2. Click Add offer → Mix & Match.
3. The first item is always the Current product on the product page. Set its quantity and price (full price, percentage off, amount off, or fixed price).
4. Click Add item for companion products. Set Products from to Selected products, Selected collection, AI recommendations, or All store products.
5. For each item, set Quantity, Price (with Discount per item), and Title. Title accepts tokens, for example {{product_title}}.
6. Optional: turn on Require customers to choose a product so a slot starts empty until the shopper picks something.
7. Under layout, choose Vertical or Horizontal. Publish when ready.

Tips

• The first item stays locked as the current product, so shoppers cannot remove it.
• Selected collection is one collection per item (for example “any 3 from Socks”).
• Selected products max is 20. AI recommendations pull related products from Shopify Search & Discovery.
• Mix & Match prices each item on its own. Quantity breaks work differently: same product, bigger discount at a higher quantity.
• Horizontal layout works best for 2 or 3 items. Use Vertical for more.
