Invoices, Billing and Canceling

How charges work

Sections are a one time purchase. You pay once and the section is yours forever.

There is no monthly fee for sections and nothing to cancel.

Section Store Plus is our only subscription. It covers the extras like conversion blocks and bundles, and it is completely separate from your purchased sections.

AI credits are part of Plus and work separately again.

See How AI Credits & AI Features Work.

Canceling Plus

Uninstalling the app cancels Plus automatically. You can also cancel inside the app without uninstalling. Either way, every section you bought stays in your theme. Canceling never removes them (one-time purchases).

Note: Unsubscribing will remove all your conversion blocks/bundles/cart-drawer

Finding your invoice

All charges bill through Shopify, so your invoices live in your Shopify admin under Settings, then Billing. Section Store charges appear there by name, with the amount and date.

Refunds

Bought the wrong section, or something does not work on your theme? Email daniel@section.store or help@section.store and we will sort it out.

One thing on timing. A refund returns money we have already received. Shopify collects app charges on your next invoice, so there is a gap between approving a purchase and the money actually moving.

If your charge still shows pending or failed, there is nothing to send back yet. Once it collects, email us and we will refund it. If it never collects, you were never charged.

Details in Refund & Exchange.

Store credit

Same rule as a refund. We can only credit a payment we have actually received, and Shopify caps app credits at what your store has recently paid us.

A charge that has not been collected

If you can see a Section Store charge but nothing has left your account, it is a pending app charge. Shopify only bills app charges on your next Shopify invoice, or once your billing threshold is reached.

  1. Go to Shopify AdminSettingsBillingBills.
  2. Find the charge and check its status.
  3. Pending means nothing has been collected, so there is nothing to refund.
  4. Paid means it went through. Send us the invoice and we will look at it.
